The guiding principles which have been used when designing VCoG™ are that the system needed to
- be educational
- facilitate compliance with ergonomic and safety requirements;
- be easy to use;
- allow for hot-desking;
- be accessible from anywhere with an internet connection;
- be tailorable; and
- only require approximately 15-20 minutes of the users time to complete
VCoG™ focuses on three core areas – individual issues, working patterns and the workstation.
The individual is provided with information on each key area and at the end of each area, there is a short quiz to ensure that the individual has learnt the key lessons and can self-manage their workstation. Training certificates will be produced once the individual has successfully completed the three quizzes.
VCoG™ can produce individual, group and corporate level dashboard and detailed reports which will provide information on the current and past compliance status, risk profiles, actions and trends.
VCoG™ is able to automatically remind persons of when assessments need to be completed or reviewed and assist hot-deskers manage their temporary workstations.
Once a company has provided us with details of all their employees, including their email addresses and location within organisation groups (e.g. division, team, building, etc), we provide the individuals with individual login details and a link to the internet-based VCoG™ system.
